Mtp Usb Device Canon Camera
(apologies to Lita4 for borrowing her thread) I tried connecting my Canon Ixus 105 (and Ixus 70) cameras to my computer to upload pictures, but my computer doesn't detect it. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium (x64). Worked fine until a few days ago. When I tried to install a driver software for it, I get this. It was fine before the update, and afterwards it wouldn't work. I tried to update the driver. MTP USB device driver is the one that was associated with it. So I tried to update. It gave error code 37.
I uninstalled the driver 3 times, and reinstalled. It still isn't working. This is a Canon digital camera. Their site says I don't need any drivers. I downloaded the newest version of their software.
The software works, but My Camera doesn't allow you to upload untransferred images anymore. It doesn't even pop up.
After doing more checking I see that sfc /scannow might be good to run. It found nothing.
I saw at one site, to do this: I posted the link, but it won't show up on here in this forum. Monchy Y Alexandra Perdidos Free Download on this page. Important: If a USB device is generating the Code 37 error, uninstall every device under the Universal Serial Bus controllers hardware category in Device Manager as part of the driver reinstall.
This includes any USB Mass Storage Device, USB Host Controller, and USB Root Hub.>>>I am a little worried about doing this. At least my computer is running right, at the moment, besides this error code 37. I am afraid if I delete every device, then I might not get some to work, when I restart, and it reinstalls. Is this the best method for fixing this problem?
I wish Canon would make their own driver, so I wouldn't have to deal with this. But it looks like they aren't interested in that. Under the univeral serial bus controllers is 2 chipsets from Intel, and one host controller that I am also concerned about. If it doesn't recognize these after a restart, I will be up a creek. I have to get these photos uploaded asap.
Peachtree 2011 Serial Number Cracks there. Any help would be very appreciated. Which update(s?) caused this problem, and on which date were you last able to connect to the camera without problems? Can you post a list of which updates you had on which date, and post the date when your camera was last able to connect properly and the date when you first plugged it in and found it didn't work? Also are you able to get to the images on the camera by browsing for them from the file explorer, or is this a matter of the camera's own software not working AND the file explorer being unable to get at the cameras pictures and videos for you? Would suggest NOT deleting any device from that list because I have a suspicion that some of them are NOT removable devices but actual parts of your computer which just happen to be connected to the rest of the computer by USB like methods. If my suspicions are correct there then you might damage your computer if certain ones of those devices were deleted. Would suggest leaving that list of USB devices as it is for the moment.

Greetings from NZ. Have recently purchased a small usb inspection snake camera with led light and when testing it plugged it into two desktops computers (one xp pro not sure of the other as it was a network work computer) It automatically loaded the drivers and brought up a screen automatically with the realtime image.(no driver disc came with it). However plugging into my windows 7 64bit sony laptop it signals a connection beep, loaded drivers automatically but wouldn't open or show up on my computer disc manager as an external usb source to click on. It does however show up on device manager as a usb camera and when I unplug and replug in it disappears and reappears so I know I have the right camera (not the lap top webcam inbuilt one that shows USB 2 Camera).
